The Yamaha YHT 1840 Home Theatre is the perfect solution for upgrading the traditional TV sound to high-quality TV sound, music, and movies with rich surround experience and make them much more entertaining. It supports the latest HDMI technology with 4K Ultra HD and HDR Video. The DSP Digital technology gives enhanced HD Audio effect (Dolby Audio, DTS–Digital Surround) providing proper sound balance and dialogue level adjustment. Yht-1840's 5.1 speaker surround sound channel configuration with a passive subwoofer is designed for cinema-quality excitement.

Supports bluetooth for streaming all the favorite music and videos. Yamaha yht1840 subwoofer trim feature provides a well-balanced enhanced bass sound by separating the low subwoofer frequencies cleanly, thus stabilizing the front stage multimedia playback. This AV receiver is also compatible with 3D, Audio Return Channel and CEC for easy operation. The ECO mode operation consumes about 20% less power.Compressed music enhancer adopts sophisticated digital signal processing algorithms so the music always sounds the way it used to be in its natural form. It provides an output power of 135 W per Channel with a strong emphasis on achieving exceptionally high clarity sound.

The scene button on the AV receiver can be used to select the input source and DSP mode. For this you have to press the scene button for more than three seconds. Any of the input sources like TV, FM Radio, CD or DVD can be selected.

Yamaha YHT-1840 Home Theatre set is amazing with Dolby Digital Sound VIRTUAL CINEMA & CINEMA DSP surround systems. It provides a much better flexible option to position the speakers in our private or living space. The Dolby digital effect DTS surround (Left & Right) subwoofer trim control makes the audio and video quality supreme and it is awesome. It brings the night movies into life (even at home!) .Very nice and pleasant to watch for long periods. Remote provides extensive connections to many devices. Operating the Yamaha home system in ECO mode saves 20% of the power. OSD (On-screen display) with color icons a big remote control unit and SCENE It provides a pleasing and comfortable user interface. It upgrades a traditional TV sound into a high-quality sound using all the above features.

A: Yes it supports a CD player.

A: It does not have Bluetooth. Optionally a WID10 Adaptor can be got to make this Bluetooth enabled and Music cast (multi-room option).
