If you've ever worked with end audio equipment over the last four decades you're probably familiar, with Midass well known reputation for crafting top notch large scale mixing consoles. The Midas M32 digital mixer introduces state of the art Midas advancements into the realm of sized consoles. Featuring 32 premium Midas preamps, 25 time aligned and phase coherent DSP mix buses, exceptional DSP processing and routing capabilities along with expansion possibilities the M32 serves as a foundation for mid sized venues and professional touring setups. Its user friendly design adds to its appeal making it one of the user digital consoles available. It's no surprise that the Midas M32 has become one of the sought after mixers, in its category.
Transitioning to a mixing console even if you're already familiar, with the workflow can feel quite daunting. The live sound engineers at Sweetwater found the shift to the Midas M32 surprisingly smooth thanks to its user layout and operation. With controls for all functions and a clear 7" TFT display that's easy to see in daylight managing your mix becomes a breeze. Features, like motorized faders and LCD screens make it simple to navigate through modes and oversee every aspect of your mix effectively. In the end these components come together to create a mixer that you'll master in no time.
Midas makes it a breeze to take advantage of the features digital mixers offer with the Midas M32. For example configuring a send mix is simple. Press the marked Fader Flip button to access your sends on the motorized faders. You can also easily assign channels to eight DCA groups, for volume control. Set up six mute groups for effortless scene programming. The Assign sections flexibility allows you to customize 36 controls across three user layers each labeled with scribble strips. Additionally with AES50 networking and Ultranet capabilities onboard you can seamlessly incorporate P16 monitors. Expand your I/O options to accommodate, up to 96 channels.
Midas returned to the beginning stages of the design process to create notch motorized faders. These faders are equipped with high quality steel guide rods that're exceptionally straight and boast surfaces for a seamless glide. Despite their movement, between layers they offer a feel striking the perfect balance between responsive touch and effortless motorized functionality. With a durability rating of 1 million cycles (three times, than top brands) you can trust these faders to stand the test of time without wearing out.
Midas has introduced 16 effects processors, for the M32 mixer utilizing their True Physical Modeling technology. These processors offer recreations of audio processors such as the Urei 1176 Teletronix LA 2A and Fairchild 670 compressors as well as Pultecs EQP 1a and EQ5 equalizers, among others. With over 50 processors, at your disposal you can now replace racks of fragile outboard equipment. Additionally the mixer features eight stereo signal processing engines allowing you to easily apply effects.
It's quite simple to remember parameter configurations or even entire console setups using the Midas M32 all thanks, to the Cue List feature. This feature allows you to create a maximum of 500 Cue entries giving you the ability to instantly retrieve any of the 100 Scenes or 100 Snippets. Scenes represent board layouts while Snippets are like "snapshots" of parameters that can be recalled independently without affecting the rest of the setup. Whether you're looking to switch to a board layout or just recall specific EQ settings for a particular song, the Cue List, on Midas M32 streamlines and simplifies this process.
